Role Overview: The Senior Officer-Risk and Compliance supports regulatory compliance by assisting with policy preparation, KYC/CDD processes, transaction monitoring, and documentation review. The role ensures adherence to laws and regulations, prepares reports for authorities, and helps train business units on AML/CFT requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist to prepare internal policies and procedures, and terms and conditions of new products and activities in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist to prepare training material on AML/CFT and Regulatory
• Establish and update regulatory obligation register
• Perform On-boarding, KYC/CDD/EDD, on-going monitoring, cash transaction report, suspicious transaction report
• Perform daily AML alert
• Prepare the relevant document for National Bank of Cambodia and local authorities
• Perform documentation review of client accounts in relation to existing clients during periodic review or change in circumstances
• Ensure all new/changed regulatory requirements are fully understood by business units
• Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience in banking industry or financial industry.
• Knowledge of banking and financial institution laws, company laws, and other relevant laws.
• Proficiency in monitoring and ensuring legal and regulatory adherence
• Strong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess risk levels and propose actionable measures
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
• Fluency in Khmer and English is highly preferred
